‘Let’s Get It On‘ are a Motown, Soul, and Disco party and function band. We pride ourselves in creating awesome parties, and weddings.

‘Let’s Get it On’ is fronted by powerful lead female vocals, and backline includes: guitar, keyboards, drums, bass guitar, plus awesome harmonies.

We can offer both female and male lead vocals, and add saxophone and horns to our standard line-up, where this may be required.

‘Let’s Get It On’ perform classic Motown, Soul, Funk, 70’s Disco, 80’s classics and the hits from the past five decades!

Think… Jackie Wilson, Sister Sledge, Earth, Wind and Fire, James Brown, The Four Tops, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston, Labelle, with a sprinkle of pop RnB from the likes of : Justin Timberlake, Lizzo, Dua Lipa, Amy Winehouse, and Bruno Mars.

We are based in and around Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, but available to travel across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Essex, London, and the Home Counties.

Collectively we have a wealth of experience performing for hotels, parties, weddings, corporate events, and festivals, so guarantee high-quality music, and the perfect mix of fun, dancing, and audience interaction.

If you are looking for something more niche:

‘Let‘s Get It On - The Motown Experience’ is our Tamla Motown and Soul Band.

We can perform 2 x 50 minutes of classic Motown and Soul for those events where old-style glamour, and non-stop dancing is essential!

An ideal choice for Golf Club Dinner Dances, Hotel Theme Nights, Club Nights, Ticketed Events, New Year’s Eve celebrations and Function Rooms across the country.

Our party band packages are all inclusive, and bespoke, so we aren’t able to offer a set quote/price here on our website.

Please contact our bookings and enquiries page, and we will be happy to discuss your specific requirements and give you a bespoke quote.

We will, where possible, offer you a range of line-ups to ensure we can offer you the best possible service to meet the needs of your budget and or venue.

Our standardised party band package includes:

• A five piece band line-up:

-Lead female vocals

-Lead Male Vocals with Electric Guitar

-Bass Guitar

-Drums

-Keyboards and Synths

-Backing vocals and harmonies

•Up to 3 x 40 minute live band sets

•Pro-grade PA, Sound, and Stage Lighting

•Complimentary Disco Playlists (from set up, in and around band sets until midnight)

•First Dance (for weddings, instrument permitting)

•Relevant Public Liability Insurance and PAT testing

We can add additional lead male vocals, and horns ie saxophone and trumpet, where budget and space are not an issue and are more than happy to create exactly the line-up you would like for your event.

Collectively we have a wealth of experience, and are seasonal pros, having played with and supported: The Real Thing, The Chi-lites, The Trammps, Alex Party, The Drifters and Rose Royce.

Previous wedding venues include: The Grosvenor House Hotel (London), The Mayfair Hotel (London), Wooton House Hotel (Hampshire), Blenheim Palace (Woodstock), Sopwell House (Hertfordshire), Shustoke Barn (Warwickshire)

Other venues include: The London Aquarium, Ashridge House in Berkhamsted, Cambridge University, Danson Boathouse (Bexley), Shuttleworth House (Biggleswade) and Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire.

Previous corporate clients include: Bank of England, Bourne Leisure Ltd; BMW, Haven, Park Holidays, and the Hotel Martinez in Cannes.
