Please reach out to us at: letsgetitonmotownband@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No. We absolutely love Motown and Soul, and this is our passion, but also perform a wide range of hits from the 1960’s through to today’s hits from Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, and Justin Timberlake.
Our standard performance time is 2 x 1 hours.
We are more than happy to split this time into:
2 x 1 hours; 3 x 40 minutes; or a 45 min and 1 hour 15 minute set - depending on your event and requirements.
Absolutely! We are fully self-contained, with a disco machine, so can offer disco playlists between, around and after band sets, included in our standard package price.
Our band sets and disco playlists always conclude by midnight.
We can offer a bespoke DJ service, for your event. This incurs a small additional fee of £150 per booking, up until midnight. You are welcome to request songs before your event, and on the night, to tailor the music to suit you and your guests.
DJ service can be provided until 1am, but would be charged at a higher rate. Please enquire if you have any specific requests.
For weddings and party bookings, we request a 20% non-refundable deposit. This allows us to secure your date and the musicians for your event.
We also ask that you agree to our booking terms, which are sent to you via email prior to your deposit being paid.
We are happy for you to request any of the band songs from our listed repertoire, in advance of your event.
We do however, encourage you to let us take control, as we have many years experience in performing ‘foolproof’ sets to ensure you have the best party possible!
We are fairly low maintenance, no big demands!
But, we’d really appreciate the following:
• A performance space, or stage of approx 5m x 4m
• A space to change, and leave our cases and belongings
• Parking for our vehicles ( at no extra cost)
• Water to be available throughout the performance
• Food to be available for each member of the band, if we are setting up for 7pm or earlier at functions and parties
In short, yes! But the bulk of our work is at private parties, weddings, and corporate functions, so public gigs are very limited.
We are always happy for you to visit us at any of our public shows (although we only book in a small number throughout the year!)
